Frequently Asked Questions

What’s this crap all about?!

How does the service work?

It is on a rolling monthly contract. You can cancel at any time. You will be refunded any money that has been paid but not used up by the service. You can choose between weekly (most popular) twice weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as a one off service. We will set up a Direct Debit and the funds will be taken once per month on the same date. Payments are made in advance of your first clean up.

How do you ensure the safety of my dog?

We ensure the physical safety of your dog by always closing gates behind us. We will even send you a picture of your closed gate every time we have visited your property after a clear up.

How does the deodorising and disinfectant service work?

You can use the service as an add on to your current service or as a one off. We recommend this on hard or paved surfaces where urine and faeces are less likely to be absorbed like it would be on grass areas. It will kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses and keep your garden smelling fresh. (for more information please see the technical info page on our website)

Can you stop cats pooping in our garden?

Yes, we have a natural and harmless way of preventing cats entering your garden. We use a solution with several naturally occurring scents combined to politely tell cats through their acute sense of smell that this isn’t your garden‘ and to go else where. We recommend a weekly service to keep up the deterrent. If we spot any poops on our visit, this will be removed as part of the service as when it rains it can dilute the scents.

Can our dog be in the garden when you visit?

Yes they can be in the garden, in fact we love dogs and love to meet our furry clients for strokes and cuddles whenever we get the chance. We ask if your dog has ever not been friendly to strangers that they be left inside for the duration of our visit for the safety of our team.

How do you dispose of the waste?

In the UK pet waste is not classified as hazardous waste. This means as long as we double bag the waste, we dispose of it in your wheeley bin or leave it somewhere you’d prefer. If you require us to take it away, we have a £1 surcharge for each visit. We are licensed waste carriers with the Environment Agency (registration number CBDL566928)

Can we request a specific day for our clean up?

Whilst we will endeavour to accommodate your requests for a specific day, this can sometimes change due to team members being on holiday or illness. You will usually have the same team member every visit, and on the same day every week. If any changes are made, we will usually contact you ahead of time to let you know if these changes are acceptable for you.

Do you provide us with time of arrival?

We do not give specific times, although the time is roughly the same for our regular customers every week, but cannot be guaranteed. We optimise our driving routes to save fuel and cut down on our environmental footprint so this can change on a daily basis depending on clients booked in for that day.

How much of our garden do you clean?

We will remove the dog poop from all areas of your garden and any access paths that may be to the side of your property etc.

How can I book you in?

We will get a team member to call you and get you set up.
